No such luck...

on either of my ventures yesterday. One of the churches I went to doesn't have any teacher openings until Fall and the other said they don't allow subs to bring their children, but I could apply for a teacher position for the Fall. I told them to consider me in the Fall. I was really disappointed. When we went to the church, a bunch of kids were playing outside and laughing and screaming in delight and Finley heard them and turned to look and started kicking her legs and screaming with them. It would be so much fun for her. My friend works at St. Luke's and she said on Thursdays and Fridays I can come up there and visit her for a couple hours and Finley can play with the kids in her class so we will definitely take her up on her offer.

I went to 3 consignment shops and only one of them had a lightweight stroller, but it was in pretty bad shape. I'll probably end up buying a new one. I would buy one of those really cheap ones, but they are so low to the ground there is no way Joey could push Finley in it. They feel so flimsy too, but that's probably just because I'm used to my big travel system stroller.

Gotta run! Lots to do today before I leave!!!

Fashionista!

Thank you Mimi and Grandad for my cute dress and cardigan. I love it!

Mom for hire.

Today, I'm on a hunt for a lightweight stroller or umbrella stroller as they call them. I love my big stroller, but it is bulky and I need something small I can use when Finley and I do our errands. Those little strollers are expensive though so I am going to hit up some consignment shops today to try and find one for less. Wish me luck! Finley and I are going to lunch with my friend Courtney and her son Connor and then I'm going to drop off a job application at a church!! Courtney works at her sons MDO program. It sounds like a pretty good gig because I get paid, but don't have to pay for daycare and I get to have my bug with me. Most importantly, Finley will get to play with other kids which I want for her so bad! She is so sweet and friendly when we go out places and I want her to develop socially to be friendly and outgoing when she's older. It is only for a sub position, but maybe I can work a few days a month at least. I'm also going to drop off an application at another church for a full-time position (well, actually its like 8:30am to 12:30pm M-F for the same kind of job). Again, these positions are conditional. I'll only take them if they let Finley come with me. I would love for her to be in my class, but I'm not sure how that works. I think I would be okay if she were in another class as long as I was there to keep an eye on her. Wish me luck on that front too please!!

Tomorrow night we are headed to Bham and we have a packed schedule: dinner with friends, visiting family, Finley's 10 month pictures and a baby shower. It's going to be a fun visit!

4lbs. down, 6lbs. to go!!

Yay!! I lost another two lbs. last week! I am in shock once again that I lost because I don't really feel like I'm dieting. Weight Watchers is fabulous! I do wish I could lose it faster, but at least I know I'm doing it the healthy way.

A year or so ago I was using Hydroxycut. Once I started hearing about how awful it was for you I stopped, but that stuff works. I knew it probably wasn't good for me, but I was desperate to lose the weight I gained once I got married. I could lose a few pounds in a few days, but obviously that is not healthy.

Since I started Weight Watchers I have gone over and used my weekly points pretty much every day. So I'm thinking if I can really stick to my daily points and not go over at all I can lose it faster. I'm only allowed 21 points and for those of you on Weight Watchers you know that's not much. I can do it if I stay out of the house, but sitting at home all day with yummy food all around makes it tough. For instance, I only have 4 points left and it's 4pm. Oh well! I'm really going to try to lose 3 lbs. this week.

Aside from all that, Finley has decided that she hates her carseat again and screams the entire time. It is miserable, let me tell you. For a while she was doing great. I could drive her all over town and not hear a peep. 1 year cannot get here fast enough simply so I can turn that freakin' carseat around. I don't know what's more dangerous...having her carseat turned around or me trying to concentrate on driving while she is screaming her head off in the backseat. I read in the doctors office that now they want you to leave the carseat facing backwards until age 2. Not happening!!!

On a positive note, Joey, Finley and I went to the mall on Sunday and Joey was carrying Finley and she looked right at me and said, "Mama" ;) She also took a few steps the other day. She was standing in front of me, facing me and I held my arms out as far away from me as they would go and I held her hands and started walking her towards me and then let go and she took a few steps and fell into my lap. She doesn't like to practice though. If you let go of her hands and try to make her do it, she just drops down and crawls. It's fun to try though;)

Happy Friday!

This week has flown by!!! Finley and I aren't doing much today. We're going to run some errands and have lunch with Courtney and Connor. I'm going to try not to completely blow WW today by eating out. I'm just going to eat what I want for lunch and starve the rest of the day. That's the spirit, right? Last night was the season finale of Jersey Shore. For those of you who don't watch it or have never heard of it, it is a guilty pleasure of mine. Joey and I got addicted to it. Yes, it's trashy and the people on it are ridiculous, but it's is hilarious!! Joey and I laugh so hard at that show!!! The Office had a new episode last night so we were excited about that too. DVR is a MUST if you are a tv watcher and have children. Plus, you get to fast forward through all the commercials. We're just going to hang out at home tonight. Joey is playing in a golf tournament this weekend so it looks like us girls are on our own. Usually that involves traveling and shopping, but it's been gorgeous out so maybe we'll do something outdoorsy. I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Thursday's Thirteen

Kim, I had to steal your idea ;)

1.) Jersey Shore season finale tonight!!! I know, I know...

2.) I want to have a bumper sticker made that says, "I have a baby on board and if your idiotic driving causes me to have a wreck, I'm going to get out of this car and beat you to a pulp!" Let me know if anyone wants one.

3.) Facebook is starting to get on my nerves. Unfortunately, I feel like I have to have it because I want to keep in touch with my friends and I want Finley's friends and relatives to see pictures and videos of her and it's too hard to email them all.

4.) This warmer weather is making me get really excited about Spring and Summer. I'm itching for our annual family beach trip.

5.) Is it too early to start planning Finley's 1st birthday? (April 2) I'm so excited because I like to plan parties and also because it is a HUGE milestone. Sometimes I can't believe I'm in charge of another human and that I've kept her alive for a year. BEST YEAR OF MY LIFE!!!

6.) I really wish I had a lot of money or medical expertise so I could help the Haitians. Those poor people...I don't have a lot of sympathy when people bring hardship on themselves, but a natural disaster is a different story. What if that happened to us?

7.) Finley refuses to look at me and say "Mama" even though I say it a million times a day to her and point at myself. She will say "Mamamama", but only when she is crying. I have heard that other babies do this too. She will, however, hear the door opening when Joey gets home and before he even enters the room say "Dada". Plain as day. Little stinker...

8.) After being at Junior Miss this past weekend, I have decided I want Finley to have some kind of "talent". Not for pageants, but just to have something in her life that she practices (aside from sports) and works to get better at. I'm thinking piano. She will probably groan and hate it, but then she'll be glad I made her do it when she's older.

9.) My pediatrician told me at my last visit that if I took Finley to a Mardi Gras parade, I should be sure to protect her head and face. Ummm...okay. I'm second guessing the whole Finley's 1st Mardi Gras parade idea.

10.) Someone buy our house!!!

11.) Last night, Finley walked the length of our sofa while holding on and then walked back. Our sofa is L-shaped and when she got to the L, she let go and reached out and grabbed the other edge. I'm pretty sure it was the first time she had done that. Go girl!!

12.) Finley's new favorite table food is waffles. She devours them!

13.) This is much easier than writing in paragraph form and trying to transition from one topic to the next. Thanks, Kimtastic Momma!

Oh please, oh please, oh please...

I really want something to happen for our family. I can't say what because it's a secret, but I want everyone to pray, hope and wish for this thing to happen to us. Was that vague enough?

2 lbs!!!

Yea!!! I lost 2 lbs. this past week. I don't know how. I was pretty good during the week, but this weekend I went out of town so I just had a free for all. I'll have to attribute it to not eating as much as I thought and walking. It seems like I walked a lot this weekend. I'm glad I lost because I need to lose to stay motivated. I'm gonna do good this week so I can lose two more!!!

Back to Mommyhood.

Well, this weekend was weird. I had a great time, but it was like I didn't know what to do with myself since I didn't have Finley. I kind of felt like the old Elizabeth, but a little sadder. I did better than I thought I would though. I didn't cry once, but on Sunday I woke up and was itching to get home to my bug! Joey and his parents stayed with Finley so I knew she was in good hands.

My old boss, Dr. Parker, invited me to come watch her daughter, Courtney, compete in Alabama's Junior Miss. It has become kind of a tradition. I saw Courtney win Miss Alabama Teen USA in Birmingham. I had planned to watch her compete in Miss Teen USA in the Bahamas, but the night before we had to cancel our trip because a certain fetus decided to make Mommy sick as a dog for the first 6 months of her pregnancy. I'm not bitter though ;) Then, I went to see her compete in Baldwin County Junior Miss and now Alabama's Junior Miss. She represented Baldwin County and she did a great job!!! She made it into the Top 8!!! Carrie, my friend and Dr. Parker's current assistant, left Friday about noon. We stayed at the Renaissance hotel in Montgomery and it was beautiful. We went to the first night of competition on Friday night and ate at IHOP afterwards with some friends. Saturday we went to eat at Shashy's for lunch and then went to the second round of competition that afternoon. That night before the final competition we went to eat at Saza, which is an Italian restaurant. It was really good! Geez, all we did was eat! We went back that night for the announcement of the Top 8 and then they did their talent, fitness and onstage question again. The winner was a talented pianist and she really stood out in that category. There were some really good talents and some not so good talents, but I could never get up on stage in front of all those people like they did so I'm impressed by that alone. After the competition was over we all headed back to Dr. Parker's suite for a party for Courtney. After that we headed back to the room and crashed! We got up this morning and headed back to Mobile. It's good to be home and I'm glad to have my first time away from Finley under my belt. I hope everyone has a great week!

I miss her already!

I'm leaving around lunch today to go to Montgomery to watch my friend's daughter compete in Junior Miss. On the one hand I'm really excited because it will be a fun girls weekend. I'm going with my friend Carrie and we're going to eat lunch and shop and watch the pageant, etc. I get to sleep in, take an uninterrupted shower, take my time getting ready, eat a meal among adults only. I get to see my old boss who is a very dear friend and her family. Plus, I LOVE watching pageants! You would think I would really be looking forward to it, but I just feel sad today. I am going to miss Finley so much!! This will be the first time I have left her overnight. Actually I will be gone two nights. I know she will be well-taken care of it's just that I don't want her to think I am gone forever. It's irrational, I know, but it breaks my heart to think about her wondering where I am and when I'm coming back. Sometimes she will be in her playroom and I will walk to my bedroom or the kitchen to do something and she will crawl through the house looking for me. This time, though if she does that she won't find me and that is just too sad to think about. I know separation can be good. It will refresh me and maybe it will help her learn that when I leave, it's only for a little while and then I'll come back. Oh geez, I hope I can make it through! Pray for me!

I hope everyone has a great weekend!!!!

NMH!

Remember that from middle school/high school? In our notes we would put, What's up(not the word, an arrow) NMH (not much here) Of course, we can't leave out L.Y.L.A.S. (Love ya like a sister) and DNQ (Dearly not queerly)! Haha! Nothing much going on today. Finley and I have been doing laundry and hanging out at home. We're going to get her headshots done later and then to Wal-mart to get some travel size stuff for my trip to Montgomery this weekend. The realtor got in touch with us and said the guy that looked at our house loved it, but just hasn't made up his mind. She said he is back on shift work and she will talk to him Thursday. I'm still a little miffed that he didn't eat any of the cookies I made and left out for him, but I suppose if he wants to buy our house I'll be okay with it. WW is going good today. The rest of the day is going to be hard though because I only have like 3 points left. Oops!! I'm trying really hard not to dip into the weekly points because I heard if you do then you don't lose as much. I think it will be easier once my body gets used to having less. By next week, I should be good in that dept.

Weight Watchers

By Day 2 of the South Beach diet I thought I would puke if I had to eat eggs or cheese again and that's basically all you can eat if you don't like vegetables or fish. I decided on Sunday to join Weight Watchers. My cousin's wife has had success with it and she really likes it. I thought it would be good for me because in my mind I would rather eat a cheeseburger and fries for lunch and nothing else all day than have to eat things I don't really like and end up splurging at the end of a couple days because I have been depriving myself of what I really want. Now I have the freedom to splurge when I want, but know that's all I'm getting. I'm hoping it will help me stay on track. Also, I love that I can track what I eat and my weight online. I was doing great today. I just had a banana for breakfast because that's only 1 point and usually a banana will hold me over for a long time. Then, I went to my junior league meeting and what did they have there waiting to taunt me? Cheese grits, seafood quiche, ham, spinach, egg and cheese croissants, breakfast potatoes, and mini orange muffins with cream cheese icing. Seriously??? Ugh! I wanted to put a heaping spoonful of everything on my plate, but I didn't. I had 2 mini-muffins with no icing (they were really small) a little square of the quiche and like 3 little triangles of the breakfast potatoes. Oh it was so hard! Anyway, wish me luck!!!

Bears and sunglasses

I went to the Dearborn YMCA today to read to the 3 and 4 year old children in the daycare. The woman at the library suggested I read them books about bears and that way I could talk about how bears hibernate in the winter. She was very helpful. I read 5 books and made them tell me what colors and animals were in the book and this one book had a repeating line that said, "Shhh, don't wake up the bear." They loved saying it along with me. They were so precious and eager to listen and answer my questions. After we were done I let them pick out some animal stickers and then I gave them each a pair of bright colored plastic sunglasses I got from the Dollar General. They all put them on and were bouncing around. I could kick myself for not taking my camera. That would have been great for the newsletter. I may take them some more next Monday because I have a ton left over and take their picture. Finley was so good! She sat in her stroller and sipped her bottle and just listened and watched the kids. They all asked who she was and what her name was and how old she was. It was too cute!

After that we went to eat lunch with Marilyn and Carrie from my old job. I love them! Then we went back to the office to see Dr. Parker who is my old boss and friend. She got Finley a precious Madame Alexander doll for Christmas. We unwrapped it and I handed it to Finley and she put it on her shoulder and laid her head on it. It was so cute! We were talking about how funny it is that little girls hug their babies instinctively and a little boy probably would have gauged its eyes out or thrown it across the room.

We left there and came home and waited for Daddy. He came home and we went to Applebee's for dinner then stopped by Wal-Mart. Finley was pooped out and went straight to bed and I'm about to do the same. Night, night!

The Heebie Jeebies!

The weirdest, freakiest thing happened to me last night. Some of you may have experienced this, but I never have and, let me tell you, it freaked me out!!! I woke up in the middle of the night and I had obviously been laying wrong on my arm because it was numb like it was asleep. My arm or foot has fallen asleep before, but nothing like this! It took a minute for it to register that my arm was completely, I don't even know the word for it, dead. I couldn't move it, I couldn't feel it. I tried to move it and pull it towards me and I felt the sensation that it was moving and I even thought I could feel it move, but I had absolutely no control over it. I sat up a little and my arm drug across the pillow like it was a dead person's arm. It scared me so bad that I almost screamed out for Joey. I tried again and again to move it, but it just kept dragging across my pillow like it wasn't a part of my body. It was actually like an out of body experience. I finally sat up and used my other arm to pick up the dead arm and shook it a bunch and I finally started to get some feeling back. Even worse, when I touched the dead arm with my other arm it felt like a dead fish! I started feeling the blood return to my arm and I slowly started to calm down. Ewww! It was so weird and scary!!It took a good 15 minutes for it to feel normal again. I swear if the light had been on my arm would have been blue. I remember thinking, surely I would have heard about people having to have their arm amputated because it lost blood for so long. All day long I keep having visions of my dead arm dragging across my pillow. That is why I don't see scary movies because if I see something scary or gross, it burns into my brain and I can't stop seeing it. Has this ever happened to any of you? I feel like I want to start a support group!

Nothing in particular.

Where do people buy clothes? I see women with cute dresses on, but I have no idea where they get them. I literally went to every clothing store in Mobile on Saturday trying to find a couple cute dresses to wear this weekend and there was absolutely NOTHING!!! I wasn't even being picky. Just before I gave up I told myself the next thing that fit was going to be purchased, but still I couldn't bring myself to buy the hideous things I tried on. I'm at a crossroads. The road between juniors and womens. The "womens" clothes look too old and the juniors look too young. All these little boutiques sell short, tights little things and I feel out of place even walking around in there. My safetys (Banana Republic and J Crew) aren't down here. The shopping in Mobile is really bad, but even so you'd think I could find a few things. I came home after 4 hours of shopping with a pair of shoes, a pair of pants, a top and a dress...for Finley. She is a well-dressed child and her mother runs around looking like a ragamuffin. That is partly because I can't find anything decent to wear and partly because my philosophy has become, "I don't know anyone in this town and I don't plan on staying here, so who cares what I look like." Occasionally I travel and that's when I wish I had something cute to wear. I really wish I had someone to watch Finley so I could go to New Orleans. I took her with me once, but it's hard to try on things and really shop when she's with me.
Oh well, enough about that!

Saturday afternoon we got a call from a realtor who wanted to show the house today. Yea!! Even if nothing comes of it, it's encouraging that people are looking. Someone called Joey after that and said they may come by Sunday too, but they haven't called. We cleaned and staged like crazy this morning before the people came, but we haven't heard back from the realtor about how it went.

This afternoon we are just hanging out and relaxing. I have a busy week ahead! Tomorrow I'm going to the YMCA to read to the kiddies, then I'm having lunch with a friend from my old job. Tuesday I have Junior League meetings. Wednesday Finley is having headshots done. Don't laugh!! A photography studio down the street had a sign out in front asking for models so I called and they said they needed children and babies to use in their advertisements for 2010 and also they do photography for several businesses and they use their own models for that too. They are going to take some headshots of her and then call if they want to use her. The great part is that some of the work will be paid and I get a discount on the pictures they take of her and that is GREAT because they are too expensive for me otherwise. They take beautiful pictures too! Thursday is my birthday!! Then Friday, me and my friend Carrie are leaving for Montgomery to watch my old boss (her current boss)'s daughter compete for Alabama's Junior Miss. We are staying through Saturday night. This will be the first time I have left Finley overnight since she was born and right now I feel okay about it, but I know when it's time to leave it will be really hard and I will miss her so much!! I will confess that I am looking forward to sleeping in though. I also think being away will refresh me. It will kind of be a girls weekend. My step-sister and her husband will be in town this week and my in-laws are coming on Friday. Whew! I love busy weeks. I get bored down here;) I hope you all have a great week!

Happy Birthday to my hubby!!!

Today is Joey's 28th birthday! His first birthday to spend as a husband AND father.

Sometimes finding common interests with your husband can be hard when you are married to an older man. He enjoys quiet evenings at home and I'm still a young, party girl. I don't turn 28 for 6 more days so I have a lot I want to accomplish before I'm as old as Joey;) Tonight, I'm making Joey's favorite, lasagna, for dinner. For dessert, this chocolate cake, jello, cool whip, Heath bar thing that is so good!! Can't say what I got him, mostly because I haven't gotten it yet. I feel weird buying him gifts because I don't work so basically he's buying himself a gift. Oh well! Finley and I will venture out to look today. I have an idea, now I just have to find it.

Happy Friday everyone!

A seriously productive day.

I...
took clothes to consignment
took stuff to Goodwill
went to the library
went to the grocery store
dropped off some things to be altered
returned some clothes
returned some phone calls
updated my blog
remembered to bring the dry-cleaning in from my car (its been in there for 3 days)
had lunch with Joey
took Finley for a walk

Yea for me!!

I have to go read books to 3-4 year olds as part of my placement in the Junior League of Mobile. I have to do this every week and I have to read 4 or 5 books each time. I got advice from the lady at the library this time, but if any of you have any suggestions for that age group I would greatly appreciate it. Another girl who has done it for a couple years says that these children have little access to books so they are actually a little behind a typical 3 or 4 year old. Isn't that sad? You would think that if you couldn't afford to purchase books for your child that you would at least take them to the library since its FREE!! It feels good to help, but it also makes me sad. We also pack little backpacks with non-perishable food items for kids to take home from school over the weekend because they don't have food at home. That just flat out makes me want to cry. They eat breakfast and lunch at school, but who knows what, if anything, they eat at home. Anyway, I don't want to get everyone down. We are helping and that's what is important.

Joey Doppler says we're going to have snow flurries in Mobile, but I don't see how that is possible. It is sunny and almost 50 degrees outside. Don't get me wrong, I would love it, I just don't think it will happen. We shall see! What is it with guys and the weather anyway? Joey is constantly running in all excited to tell me what the weather is doing or what it will be like tomorrow. I fake enthusiasm for his sake, but I really don't care. The other night I was working out and the news came on the television and all the men in the gym stopped mid-work out and started walking towards the tv like a bunch of zombies. Then when the weather report was over they stood around discussing it for at least 10 minutes. It was so funny!!! I guess that means Joey is normal;)

Say cheese!

I think my child may be gifted. Do you know any 9-month-olds that can operate a camera? She had to have turned it on and then aimed and pressed the button, twice. I'm impressed! To be honest, I thought she had broken it and was kind of happy about it because I REALLY want one of those fancy cameras. Joey promised me we would have one by her first birthday and I'm holding him to it!!! You hear that, Joey??

Hit me with your best shot!

Today we went for Finley's 9 month appt. She did great! She had to get her last Hepatitis shot and for whatever reason, she didn't cry. Did not shed a tear! It was weird. The doctor said she looked great and is growing well. She is doing everything a 9 month old should do. I'm hoping we can improve on the sippy cup situation. My doctor likes to start giving juice in a sippy cup only, no bottle, so that when you ditch the bottle at 1 year, they are more comfortable drinking out of a cup. I try to give Finley juice in a sippy cup, but she won't drink it. She just chews on the nipple part. She drinks juice out of a bottle like a champ though. Oh well, I'm not worried about it, she'll do it in her own time. Here are her stats...

Height: 27 .5 inches
Weight: 19 lbs.
Head circumference: 44 3/4 centimeters

We go back at 12 months. 12 months will be a big one. We get to turn the car seat around, stop spending a fortune on formula, no more bottles, she can have whole milk and I can get her addicted to peanut butter like her Mommy;)

After we left the doctor we went to Zoe's to get some chicken salad and then to pick up some monogramming I had done. I found a lady that does 3 initials for $5 and has it ready the next day! Whoo hoo! Unfortunately her house smells like her dogs. The person that referred me there swears the clothes won't smell like that. She's not sure how they don't, but they don't. I hope not because I'll have to go back to paying $7-$9 and waiting a week. Finley and I are hanging out at the house this afternoon. When Joey gets home I may go work out...maybe.

I decided to try losing some weight again, but after a week of being really good, I literally weighed exactly to the ounce what I weighed when I started. I know how to maintain my weight, but I certainly don't want to maintain my current weight!! Yesterday I decided I would have to pull out the big guns...South Beach diet. It sucks, but it works!! I'm doing good so far. I'm doing great since I discovered today that I can have sugar free chocolate Jello! Pancakes, cheeseburgers, fries, ice cream, Snickers, doughnuts..okay I feel better now. Anyway, I want to lose 10 lbs by the end of the month. I know that's a lofty goal, but I think I can do it if I just stick to the diet. I miss the days when I could just not eat much for 3 days and lose 5 lbs. Ugh! 27 year old metabolism stinks! I want 19 year old metabolism back!

Simply swing.

Uncle Curt and Aunt Laura got Finley a swing for Christmas and Joey set it up the other day. Finley loves it! She just lays back and smiles;) It's kind of chilly here so we can only swing for a few minutes, but I know it will come in handy when it warms up. My outdoors girl and I will have fun this summer when we can hang out in the backyard swingin' and lounging in the kiddie pool. Thanks Beattys!!

Nice little Saturday...

Having some black eyed peas for good luck:)

Yesterday was such a fun day! Finley turned 9 months old so we "celebrated" with a trip to the outlet mall in Foley. The sales were unbelievable! I got 3 tops from Banana Republic for $40 and Joey got a pair of shoes. He also got 2 shirts from J. Crew that were 50% off. We had lunch and then headed to The Wharf in Orange Beach. If you have never been you should stop by next time you're at the beach. They have a couple nice restaurants, an ice cream shop, a deli, lots of really cute shops, a Ferris wheel and a yacht club. It was cold, but the sun was out so it was really nice. We just strolled and window shopped and took Finley out to see the boats and she watched the Ferris wheel. She slept a bunch in the car which was a nice change from her usual crying;) Joey and I actually got to carry on a conversation. She gets easier and easier to take places every day. She has always been good out in public so I hope it continues. We came home and then I headed out to Castles and Crowns. They just opened a store in Mobile. I knew the smart thing to do would be to buy Finley's dress for Christmas now when all the Christmas stuff is on sale, but I have a hard time spending money now on something she won't wear for another year. My mom bought Finley's dress she wore in her Christmas card pictures and to church which was nice, but I knew I wanted her to have one for next Christmas and I also knew I wasn't going to spend $80 on on a dress she'll wear twice. I have a feeling I'll be doing that plenty when she's older;) Anyway, I found a PRECIOUS baby blue longall with crosses smocked across the the top for $25. I was so excited because I had seen it online a while back and thought it was so cute. I had a couple coupons and a gift card to Gap too so I went there and got her some things. I stopped by Wal-Mart and got Finley these snacks that taste just like cheese puffs. They are so good and she loves them. It is so cute because she can pick her food up now and put it in her mouth herself. The cheese snacks are long like a cheese puff and she puts them in her mouth and bites down and they crunch and you can tell she likes to hear the noise because after she does it she smiles really big. Then I came home and just hung out with my hubby and baby girl. Now I realize why it was such a fun day. I was with my two favorite people and I shopped all day!
